Festival 2025

From October 16 to 22, 2025, the 14th QUEER-Streifen Filmfestival will take place in the Kinos im Andreasstadel. The festival patron is mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer.
The short films (max. 30 minutes) are part of a competition. A jury selects the best short film of the entire programme, which is endowed with 750 euros. In addition, the audience awards a prize in the categories lesbian, gay and queer, each endowed with 250 euros.
An unendowed audience award is elected from all feature films.
The sponsor of the Jury Award is Praxiszentrum Alte Mälzerei, the sponsor of the Audience Awards is Feil Architekten. Many thanks!

Our jury 2025

Luka Klotz, born 1999 geboren, grew up in Niederbayern and studied European Studies in Passau. Today she lives in Munich and works as a producer in a creative agency and in film production. In 2024, she took part in the QUEER-Streifen Filmfestival with her first queer film (direction and production) – this year she is looking forward to being part of the jury.

Nicole Litzel was born in 1972 in Regensburg and studied Economics. Since 2009, she organizes the Regensburger Stummfilmwoche (Silent Film Week) for the Arbeitskreis Film e.V., but her passion for the early cinema has its roots originates in a much younger age – in the late 1980ies she first discovered this film festival which combines silent films with freshly composed live music.

Holger Wegner (born 1972), a film and and cinema enthusiast, is a member of the festival team of the Schwule Filmwoche (Gay Film Week) Freiburg since 2010. He is one of the most long-time members and is taking part in the film selection, but also in the festival organisation itself. Apart from that honorary post, he is a landscape planner in the Black Forest.
