Festival 2024

From October 17 to 23 2024 the 13th QUEER-Streifen Filmfestival will take place in the Kinos im Andreasstadel. The festival patron is mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer.

The short films (max. 30 minutes) are part of a competition. A jury selects the best short film of the entire programme, which is endowed with 750 euros. In addition, the audience awards a prize in the categories lesbian, gay and queer, each endowed with 250 euros.

An unendowed audience award is elected from all feature films.

Our jury 2024

Andreas Hammer is a freelance actor, author and producer. He has appeared in over 50 theater productions and is now increasingly working in front of the camera for film and television. He has also been writing and producing his own films since 2020, most recently the queer comedy “Two-Headed Calves”.

Elisabeth Kratzer was born in Moosburg in 1993 and studied media art/media design at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. She then went to the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF Munich), where she studied documentary film directing and television journalism until 2022. Her main interest in film is people and their unique life stories.

Emily Meinke, born in 1995, works at the film distribution company MFA+. She is responsible for marketing and press, most recently for the campaign for the mega-success “Checker Tobi und die Reise zu den fliegenden Flüssen” and is now Co-Managing Director alongside her father Christian Meinke.
